Text in French (and some Arabic) with pasted-in, tissue-paper rectangles with hand drawn copies of 28 Latin inscriptions, 1 plan of the Roman fort of Kalama.
5 loose inserts – 2 sketches in pencil of Atlas mountain passes – ‘Vue de Krenek’ and Passage de l’oued zarzour du pied du Seba Regoun’, dated 1838; 4 folia of further inscriptions.
